Man working in Indian Embassy in Moscow spied for ISI: Held

Satendra Siwal was arrested for spying for ISI(Interservice Intelligence) by the Anti-terrorist Squad (ATS) in Meerut Uttar Pradesh. He was working in the Indian Embassy in Moscow.

The city woke to the normal sounds of vehicles: newspapermen, milkmen, office goers, business owners, tourists, etc. It was just another normal day in Hapur, sixty kilometres from the national capital of Delhi. It was true for a teenage boy too who has found the reason for not going to school today however he has not got a reason to go out of home because his reason for not going to school is fever. He restrains himself from going out, but news of police officers coming in front of a person’s home hits his ears. He has no response for it because it doesn’t fulfil his needs.

Minutes later he hears from a known person that he is an ISI agent, he was working in the Indian Embassy in Moscow. His eyebrows raise with shock and curiosity as he has seen in a distant part of India but not in his hometown. His curiosity is like any other emotion that a human gets caught which doesn’t get satisfied until given what it demands. He calls to one of his contacts whose name is Siva and a conversation takes place

Boy: did you hear ISI agent working in the Indian Embassy in Moscow

Siva: Yes, he belongs to Shahmahuiddinpur village in our District. He was working as a multi-tasking staff in Moscow.

Boy: In our village? why did he do that, who is he exactly?

Siva: The man who said he was going to work in another country without mentioning it and who was an Introvert

Boy: How come he isn’t brave enough to fight with others in the village

Siva: I don’t know but he has been working since 2021 in the Indian Embassy In Moscow he was arrested in Meerut Uttar Pradesh. He wasn’t able to answer the questions thrown by the Anti-terrorist squad (ATS), which forced him to accept he was guilty

Boy: Who told me that he was doing these things

Siva: Its confidential sources, nobody will tell us that

Boy: Oh I see, but I am curious to know how these things function and how they hire employees for Intelligence sources

Siva: He was placed under surveillance without his knowledge in technical and physical ways after questioning by ATS officials he was arrested.

Boy: So, what did the Minister say

Siva: The Minister of External Affairs said they are working with relevant Investigative agencies after the employee who was working in the Indian embassy in Moscow got arrested on the charges of spying for ISI.

Boy: How was he trapped?

Siva: Some news channels are saying honey trap and others are saying money, who knows what is the truth?

Boy: What happened later?

Siva: The normal things, They have seized his Adhaar card, PAN card, identity card and 600 rupees

Boy: why did he choose to work in the Indian embassy in Moscow, there are embassies in different countries

Siva: Russia is an important defence partner of India and this has been boosted ever since Russia invaded Ukraine. This is why the employee was targeted either by money or honey traps. It is not the Employee went there intentionally he was targeted because he was working there

Siva: A woman named Gupta was working in Pakistan she was arrested when she came home for holidays, though she claimed she was innocent, she spent several years in Jail
