Which is the dream of the majority of the candidates. Candidates who fail to get higher rankings may re-attempt or accept the position they got. The UPSC CSE 2024 notification has currently been released for the preliminary examination. Interested candidates must register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, which is in the portal, or else you can do that by clicking here. Once it is done, the candidate should start applying for the exam.

  • Fill out the application form and pay the application fees
  • click submit and download a copy of the application
  • It is recommended to keep a hard copy in case of emergencies

Remember, the steps above are equally important as your year-long preparation. Any mistake can last a year. Unfortunately, there are a few more steps to complete the procedure successfully

The examination will be held on May 26. The application process will begin on February 14 and end on March 5.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university.

The UPSC CSE 2024 notification also states candidates who have completed the final year examination but are awaiting results can apply; however, they have to submit proof of qualifying examination in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF 1) for the main examination.

The UPSC examination is also known for being the toughest examination in the world. The age bar is also a must for appearing in the UPSC exam. The UPSC CSE 2024 notification states that the candidate must be at least 21 years old and not more than 32 years old on the cut-off date.
